A restored townhouse, wide open to the street.
Corner Hostel sits inside a restored traditional Maltese townhouse on St Margaret Street, Sliema — original tiled floors, high ceilings, a stone staircase that's older than the furniture. The bones stayed. Everything else was rebuilt around them.
It's independent accommodation, not a chain: private rooms and shared dormitories on three floors, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area on the ground floor, a sun terrace upstairs, and a lounge that fills up most evenings with people comparing notes on where they've just been and where they're headed next.
Pick your room, keep your independence.
40 beds across three floors, one lift, and a layout built around the same idea: come and go as you like, sleep well, and don't overpay for space you won't use.
Private Rooms
Your own door, your own space — for travelling in twos, working remotely, or just wanting the option to close the curtains and disappear for a night.
Shared Dormitories
Female-only, male-only, or mixed — four beds a room, for travellers who'd rather meet people on night one than wait until checkout to talk to anyone.
Built for the hours you're not asleep.
Communal Kitchen
Cook your own meals, skip another night of restaurant prices.
Lounge
Where most conversations in this hostel actually start.
Rooftop Terrace
Sun, sea air, and the closest thing to a Sliema skyline you'll find here.
Library
A quiet corner when the lounge isn't the vibe you're after.
BBQ Area
Bring the ingredients, bring whoever you met that afternoon.
Coworking-Friendly Seating
A quiet corner of the lounge for the days you still have to work.
Free WiFi Throughout
Common areas and rooms both — enough to stay in touch, not just check in.
Everything is closer than you think.
Corner Hostel is roughly 200 metres from Sliema Beach and the Exiles bus terminal — most of what's below is a walk, the rest is one short bus ride.
The view from the front door — St Margaret Street, Sliema.
You're not staying alone.
Corner Hostel runs on the same idea most good hostels do — the people staying here are half the reason to stay. An international mix, most of them mid-trip, most of them happy to tell you where they've been and ask where you're going next.
